Tournament Information

1/17 - 1/19, 2026

Collegiate, high school, and top amateur golfers will compete in the inaugural Sunday Swing Shootout at Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord, CA. This tournament features 54 holes of of elite amateur golf competing for WAGR ranking points, NCGA player of the year points, and a strong purse for top finishers.

Format
54 holes of individual stroke play competition with no cut - in the event of a tie a sudden death playoff will be used to determine the champion.

Entry Fee
$325
3 rounds of golf, range balls, lunch daily, and competitive purse

Practice Rounds
Please contact Diablo Creek GC at 925.686.6267 or book online via www.diablocreekgc.com - rounds are at players expense with normal green fee rates.
‍

Golf Carts
Competitors will be required to walk, automotive transportation will be prohibited for competitors during tournament rounds. Carts may be rented and used for caddies only. Penalties for players riding in a cart will be:
First Offense - General Penalty
Second Offense - Disqualification

Spectator Carts
Spectator carts will be available at the discretion of the Diablo Creek GC staff. If allowed, spectator carts will be required to remain on cart paths at all times.

Pull Carts
Push, pull and electric carts that only transport golf clubs will be allowed.

Distance Measuring Devices
Distance measuring devices that measure distance only will be allowed.

Awards
Players will compete for a strong purse including $1000 to the champion and payouts to the top 20 finishers based on a 72 player field.

Conduct and Attire
Players will be expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner that includes good sportsmanship. Disqualification without refund for improper conduct is at the sole discretion of the tournament committee. Proper golf attire will be required including collared shirts, non-metal spike shoes, and hats worn forward.

Waiting List
Once the maximum field of 72 players is reached, a waiting list will be created on a first-come-first-serve basis.
